What Circle H Ranch knowsand what it doesn't
Updated October 21, 2026
Circle H Ranch is built so the app works without ever learning who you are. Here is exactly what happens to your dogs' records.
No account, no sign-in
Circle H Ranch never asks for an email address, a password, or a phone number. You can open it and start using it right away.
Your records stay on your device
Dog names, mating dates, photos of both parents, breed and color, progesterone numbers, vet visits, X-rays, checklist ticks, litter outcomes, and notes are all stored on the phone or computer you use them on. They are not uploaded to us — nothing leaves your device unless you send a backup or a transfer code yourself.
Photos are kept on your device
Photos you add are made smaller so they fit comfortably, then saved on the device itself. They are not sent anywhere on their own — they travel only inside a backup you make or a transfer code you send.
Backups belong to you
A backup file or backup code contains your dogs' records, photos, health logs, and litter outcomes. You decide where to keep it. Anyone you hand it to can see what's in it, so treat it like a private file.
Moving dogs to another device is your choice
The Move my dogs feature puts a copy of your records in a private holding spot for 7 days so you can pick them up on another phone or web address. Nothing is sent until you tap Send my dogs, the copy disappears on its own after 7 days, and you can delete it sooner with Delete sent copy. Anyone who knows the 12-character code can open what was sent, so keep the code to yourself. No other part of the app uploads your records.
No ads, no selling of information
Circle H Ranch shows no advertising and does not collect, rent, or sell information about you or your dogs.
The puppy announcement page shows only what you choose
When you make an announcement, it shows the kennel name, tagline, and message you wrote, plus the parents' details and the due window. Mating dates, progesterone numbers, vet records, the whelping checklist, and outcome notes stay on your device.
Keep a backup before you lose the lot
Because records live on your device, clearing browser data, uninstalling the app, or moving to a new phone can erase them. Download a backup first — restoring takes a minute.
Need a hand with something?
Use the support contact shown on the app's store listing or on the page where you bought it. Tell us what you were doing when the trouble started and, if you can, send a backup file — that's the fastest way for us to see what's going on.
